Quantity Added To Quality = Titles

A Gooner’s View:
The game is finally up for Arsene Wenger, and his squad of young pretenders, a long season has finally caught up with our squad, as the title slips away, at the stage where true champions step up and fight, Arsenal are on the ropes, with Didier Drogba providing the final knock out punch to a season of frustration and disappointment.
In the summer, star player and skipper Thierry Henry was sold, along with Jose Reyes, meaning we had lost the Pires replacement, and our leading marksman, Eduardo arrived, and the lack of big name left many Gooners looking over their shoulders at our neighbours who were splashing the cash, meaning pundits and fans alike were writing us off, saying of all things Tottenham would finish above us.
If we have learnt one thing, it is money does not buy you success, however it goes a bloody long way to it if invested in the correct way, after an encouraging start to the season, a freshness, and resilience to our play had been found, players such as Adebayor and Hleb seemed more creative and inventive, and thrived without the pressure and expectancy that normally comes with Arsenal.
However as the season wore on, and as reported on Gunners Live, Arsenal had the most amount of games in a season, and as injuries mounted up, it meant as other sides around us, were able to rest players due to international events, and such, the same names had to play week in week out, Hleb started to lose his shine, as did Fabregas and now more recently Adebayor, whilst yes I believe that with young players comes inconsistency, our small squad has been stretched to the max, meaning with the final run in comes a squad who are feeling the effects of a long season, many Gooners have come out, with “Adebayor is shit” not only is this wide of the mark, its also extremely disrespectful because the big mans goals, have saved us on many occasions, and taken us top of the league.
We have the quality, its just quantity, money does not always buy talent, as we have seen with many teams, however money does buy quantity, which is what we need, the point I am making is, our players need our support more than ever, not for us to question them when in-fact they have all played parts in getting us to a position where we could win the league, it does mean that we need more players, buy we do not need to spent billions on them, if we start to look for a scape goat, we turn into Manchester United and Chelsea, and Arsenal have more class than any of those clubs.
