Ade: I’ll score soon

Arsenal hitman Emmanuel Adebayor has promised Gunners fans that he will rediscover his golden scoring record in front of goal soon.

The Togo star scored 19 goals in 24 League games, then got his dreadlocks chopped off and he has only scored 1 (against Milan in the CL) since then!

Ade, speaking to The Sun, said:

“They were getting on my nerves. I could only wash them once every three weeks.”

But he insists he will rediscover his golden touch in front of goal soon and get Arsenal’s title hopes back on track.

He added: “I don’t feel I have lost form at all. If you watch our matches closely, you will see that, even when I don’t score the goals, my contribution to the team is 100 per cent.

“The most important thing is the team should win.

“I love scoring goals and I want the fans to know they will start flowing again soon to help the team win the competitions we are playing in.”

Well, you could say Sunday’s game against Chelsea could make or break our season. Ade will have to be on top form to beat the likes of John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho. Don’t forget, RVP is back, and of course - match fit! So maybe him and Ade could give us a win at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea still unbeaten there for over 3 seasons.

More, including transfer rumours and more.. later!

Diaby to Italy?

Diaby

Abou Diaby’s could move to Juventus or Inter Milan in the next couple of seasons according to his representative Roger Boli.

The 21 year old came to Arsenal in January 2006 and made an instant impact with some impressive performances against top Premier League sides such as Liverpool & Chelsea in the League Cup and has been in and out of the team ever since.

“He’s a super player,” Boli told calciomercato.com.

“For now he is learning under Arsene Wenger, but in two years he can make the leap to a major Italian team.

“He’s a complete player and has great tactical intelligence.”

Surely we won’t let another top class midfielder leave? I for one was against Diarra moving to Portsmouth and I feel Diaby could make a bad career choice if he decides to leave for Italy.

We’ll see how this rumour unfolds, more later.

Update:It seems Boli isn’t Diaby’s agent according to Setanta Sports.
