Interesting injury news ahead of Saturday’s game with Middlesbrough. Theo Walcott is going to have a late fitness test on a thigh injury sustained in a behind closed doors friendly against American feeder side Colorado Rapids.

Tomas Rosicky and Abou Diaby are unfortuantely still out. Rosicky has been plagued with injuries since he came to Arsenal and this doesn’t suprise many people that he hasn’t played many games this season.

As for Diaby, the big strong French midfielder is recooperating from a calf injury sustained in the 2-0 Champions League win against Milan.

Speaking to Arsenal TV Online, Wenger said,

“Tomas is still out and Abou is still out, there is a little chance of Theo being back for Saturday but he has not practiced with the team yet. We will have a test tomorrow.”

Some brilliant news on Eduardo though, the Brazilian born Croatian is recovering from a broken leg and came to visit London Colney (Arsenal’s training ground) on Thursday morning and Wenger told the Official site that it’s looking like everything’s going to plan concerning Dudu’s recovery process.

“Yes, we saw him today,” said Wenger. “He came in and it was fantastic. He looked good. He is positive in his mind and a strong boy mentally.

“Of course we are sad to lose him for the season. But we are all pleased at the way he is dealing with it. Everybody who has been in this situation knows how difficult this is to take.”

Good news there, Boro preview coming tomorrow…
